My everyday uniform is hospital scrubs and I rarely have an occasion to get all dressed up. My everyday style is quite casual, but I do love clothes and shopping and pretty things, so I love a wedding or party that is a good excuse to buy a fun dress and heels (hopefully classic enough to stay in my closet for years.) My favorite item is my DKNY military jacket from 4-5 yrs ago. I could wear it every single day- with jeans, black skinnies, dresses, boots, heels, flats.... I love to study the catalogs and lookbooks (especially Jcrew) and dream about which items I could mix into my wardrobe and how I can restyle items I already own. I am finding the same inspiration here on Polyvore. I love finding items that will stay in my closet for 10 years like my Frye's, Converse, ballet flats, classic cardigans, gold bangles.....
